Jade has been a dance facilitator, teacher and choreographer for over 12 years in education, community and professional contexts. She graduated with a BA Hons in Dance and Culture from Surrey University in 2007 and has since taught in over 200 schools, community centres, PRU centres and youth clubs across the UK and abroad.

Teaching credits include Royal Academy of Dance, Greenwich Dance, Move It, East London Dance, Laban Centre, Essex Dance, Thompsons Holidays, Breakin Convention, Dance Digital, BBC Blast and Big Dance. She co-directs her own youth dance company called Lotus aimed at providing dance training and performance opportunities for young people from disadvantaged back-grounds in South East London.

She recently left her role as Street Dance Development Officer for the Royal Academy of Dance to set up Parkour Dance Company. After four years of practising parkour Jade recognised its life changing benefits and wanted to bring these together with the transformative power of movement and dance to help people from all walks of life. She is currently undertaking a Leadership with Older People diploma to aid the Parkour Dance over 60s program – Forever Young. She strongly believes that movement can be used not only to heal, transform and catalyse the mind and body but also for positive social change.
